Isaiah 50
1 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪਰਚਾ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ? ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਿਓ, ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਸੀ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਚੇ ਗਏ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ।
2 ਮੈਂ ਘਰ ਆਇਆ ਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਓੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਅਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦੇਖੋ, ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਸੜ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
3 ਮੈਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਾ ਬਣਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਢੱਕ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਸੋਗੀ ਬਸਤਰਾਂ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਕਾਲਾ।”
1 Thus saith the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

1 ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਨਾਹ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪਰਚਾ ਕਿੱਥੋ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ? ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਿਓ, ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਸੀ? ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੇਚੇ ਗਏ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ।

2 ਮੈਂ ਘਰ ਆਇਆ ਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਓੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਅਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈ। ਦੇਖੋ, ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਸੜ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
