Isaiah 10
28 ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਫ਼ੌਜ (ਅਯ੍ਯਾਬ) ਖੰਡਰਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੌਜ “ਸੁਹਾਗੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ” (ਮਿਗਰੌਨ) ਉੱਤੇ ਕਦਮ ਵੱਧਾਵੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੌਜ “ਮੋਦੀ ਖਾਨੇ” ਮਿਕਮਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ।
29 ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨਦੀ ਨੂੰ “ਚੌਰਾਹੇ” (ਰਾਮਾਹ) ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਰ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੌਜ ਗਬਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੌਵੇਂਗੀ। ਰਾਮਾਹ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸਾਉਲ ਦੇ ਗਿਬਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
30 ਰੋਵੋ, ਬਾਬ ਗਾਲਿਮ! ਲਾਇਸ਼ਾਹ, ਸੁਣੋ! ਅਨਾਬੋਬ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵੋ!
31 ਮਾਦਮੇਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਭੱਜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਗੇਬਿਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਛੁਪ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
32 ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੋਬ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰੁਕ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਪਰਬਤ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਪਹਾੜੀ, ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
33 ਦੇਖੋ! ਸਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਸ ਵੱਡੇ ਰੁੱਖ (ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ) ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਵੱਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਲੋਕ ਕੱਟ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ-ਉਹ ਗ਼ੈਰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.
31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.
32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.

33 ਦੇਖੋ! ਸਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਉਸ ਵੱਡੇ ਰੁੱਖ (ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ) ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਵੱਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਲੋਕ ਕੱਟ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ-ਉਹ ਗ਼ੈਰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
Behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
