Haggai 2 - BBE (Punjabi)

1 In the seventh month, on the twenty-first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying,ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ 7ਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ 21ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਹੱਜਈ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬਾਣੀ ਹੋਈ:

2 Say now to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, ruler of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the rest of the people,ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਸ਼ਅਲਤੀਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਰੁੱਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਸਾਦਾਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ:

3 Who is there still among you who saw this house in its first glory? and how do you see it now? is it not in your eyes as nothing?“ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੌਣ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ? ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋਂ? ਕੀ ਮੰਦਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ?

4 But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land, says the Lord, and get to work: for I am with you, says the Lord of armies:ਪਰ ਹੁਣ, ਜ਼ਰੁੱਬਾਬਲ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਨਾ ਹਾਰ। ਪਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਯਹੋਸਾਦਾਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਨਾ ਹਾਰ! ਇਸ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਨਾ ਹਾਰੋ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਉਂ ਆਖਿਆ। ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।”

5 The agreement which I made with you when you came out of Egypt, and my spirit, are with you still; have no fear.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੇ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਡਰੋ ਨਾ।

6 For this is what the Lord of armies has said: In a short time I will make a shaking of the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land;ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਵਾਨ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਬੋੜੀ ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੈਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼, ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹਿਲਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।

7 And I will make a shaking of all the nations, and the desired things of all nations will come: and I will make this house full of my glory, says the Lord of armies.ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਦੌਲਤ ਸਹਿਤ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇੰਝ ਆਖਿਆ।

8 The silver is mine and the gold is mine, says the Lord of armies.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ। ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

9 The second glory of this house will be greater than the first, says the Lord of armies: and in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of armies.ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਰੀ ਮੰਦਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਂਤੀ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ, ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।”

10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying,ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ-ਅਸੀਸ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਦਾਰਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ 9 ਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ 24 ਤਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਹੱਜਈ ਨਬੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਈ ਕਿ

11 These are the words of the Lord of armies: Put now a point of law to the priests, saying,ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਆਖਦਾ, “ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛੋ ਕਿ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ:

12 If anyone has some holy flesh folded in the skirt of his robe, will bread or soup or wine or oil or any other food be made holy if touched by his skirt? And the priests answering said, No.‘ਫ਼ਰਜ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਪੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਮਾਸ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਬਲੀ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਰੋਟੀ, ਭੋਜਨ, ਮੈ, ਤੇਲ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਪੜਾ ਛੂਹੇਗਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ?’” ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਨਹੀਂ!”

13 Then Haggai said, Will any of these be made unclean by the touch of one who is unclean through touching a dead body? And the priests answering said, It will be made unclean.ਤਦ ਹੱਜਈ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕਿਸੇ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਹ ਦੇਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਭਲਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ?” ਤਾਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ’ਚ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਵਸਤ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।”

14 Then Haggai said, So is this people and so is this nation before me, says the Lord; and so is every work of their hands; and the offering they give there is unclean.ਫ਼ਿਰ ਹੱਜਈ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਉਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਇਸ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੈ।

15 And now, give thought, looking back from this day to the time before one stone was put on another in the Temple of the Lord:“‘ਹੁਣ, ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਅਗਾਂਹ, ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੋਚੋ: ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਿਂਝ ਵਾਪਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ?

16 How, when anyone came to a store of twenty measures, there were only ten: when anyone went to the wine-store to get fifty vessels full, there were only twenty.ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਅਨਾਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਢੇਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ 20 ਪੈਮਾਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਓੱਥੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 10 ਪੈਮਾਨੇ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੀ ਕੁਲਹਾੜੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 50 ਮਰਤਬਾਨ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ ਕੱਢਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 20 ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ।

17 And I sent burning and wasting and a rain of ice-drops on all the works of your hands; but still you were not turned to me, says the Lord.ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਭੇਜੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਤਬਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਗੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਮੁੜੇ।’ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

18 And now, give thought; looking on from this day, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the time when the base of the Lord's house was put in its place, give thought to it.“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਅੱਜ ਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦਾ 24ਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੋ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਿਓ ਕਿ ਹ੍ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰਦਾ!

19 Is the seed still in the store-house? have the vine and the fig-tree, the pomegranate and the olive-tree, still not given their fruit? from this day I will send my blessing on you.ਕੀ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਪਿੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਦਾ ਦਾਣਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਕੀ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੇਲਾਂ, ਅੰਜੀਰ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰੱਖਤ, ਅਨਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰੱਖਤ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਲ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਵਾਢੀ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।”

20 And the word of the Lord came a second time to Haggai, on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying,ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ 24 ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਹੱਜਈ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਬਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਈ। ਉਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ।

21 Say to Zerubbabel, ruler of Judah, I will make a shaking of the heavens and the earth,“ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਜ਼ਰੁੱਬਾਬਲ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਕੇ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

22 Overturning the power of kingdoms; and I will send destruction on the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; by me war-carriages will be overturned with those who are in them; and the horses and the horsemen will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਲਟਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਖਤਮ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਰਬਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਸੁੱਟਾਂਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜ-ਸਵਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਗੇ।

23 In that day, says the Lord of armies, I will take you, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, says the Lord, and will make you as a jewelled ring: for I have taken you to be mine, says the Lord of armies.ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ, ਸ਼ਅਲਤੀਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਰੁੱਬਾਬਲ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੋਹਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੰਗੂਠੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਓਁ ਆਖਿਆ।
