ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਉ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਿਸਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੀ ਪੈਣਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ, ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ।

and go; וְנֵלֵ֑כָה hālak ha-LAHK
that we may live, וְנִֽחְיֶה֙ ḥāyâ ha-YA
and not וְלֹ֣א lōʾ loh
die, נָמ֔וּת mût moot
both גַּם gam ɡahm
we, אֲנַ֥חְנוּ ʾănaḥnû uh-nahk-NOO
and גַם gam ɡahm
thou, אַתָּ֖ה ʾattâ ah-TA
