Genesis 41:49
ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਇੰਨਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਰੇਤ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੰਨਾ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਪਣਾ ਔਖਾ ਸੀ।

ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ। ਉਹ ਟਿੱਡੀ ਦਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਊਠ ਇੰਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਕਿ ਗਿਣਨੇ ਵੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ।
Judges 7:12
ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਲੋਕ, ਅਮਾਲੇਕ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਈ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਬੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਟਿੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਜਾਪਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਉਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਇੰਨੇ ਊਠ ਹਨ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਕੰਢੇ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਕਣ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
1 Samuel 13:5
ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ 3,000 ਰੱਥ ਅਤੇ 6,000 ਘੁੜ-ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਇੰਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਸਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਕਣ ਹੋਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਕਮਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ। (ਮਿਕਮਾਸ਼ ਬੈਤਆਵਨ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ।)

ਅੱਯੂਬ 7,000 ਭੇਡਾਂ, 3,000 ਊਠਾਂ, 1,000 ਬਲਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ 500 ਗਧਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪੂਰਬ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਅਮੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ।
Jeremiah 33:22
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਰੇ ਹਨ-ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਕੰਢੇ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਕਣ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ-ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ।”
