Genesis 37:20
ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜੇ ਹੋ ਸੱਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣੇ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਖਣੇ ਖੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਕੇ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਧ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਹਨ।”

Genesis 42:35
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੋਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੋਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਸਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਥੈਲੀ ਮਿਲੀ। ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਦੇਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
