Genesis 31:43
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਵੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

| These daughters | הַבָּנ֨וֹת | habbānôt | ha-ba-NOTE |
| are my daughters, | בְּנֹתַ֜י | bĕnōtay | beh-noh-TAI |
| children these and | וְהַבָּנִ֤ים | wĕhabbānîm | veh-ha-ba-NEEM |
| are my children, | בָּנַי֙ | bānay | ba-NA |
| cattle these and | וְהַצֹּ֣אן | wĕhaṣṣōn | veh-ha-TSONE |
| are my cattle, | צֹאנִ֔י | ṣōʾnî | tsoh-NEE |
| all and | וְכֹ֛ל | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| that | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| thou | אַתָּ֥ה | ʾattâ | ah-TA |
| seest | רֹאֶ֖ה | rōʾe | roh-EH |
| what and mine: is | לִי | lî | lee |
| can I do | ה֑וּא | hûʾ | hoo |
| day this | וְלִבְנֹתַ֞י | wĕlibnōtay | veh-leev-noh-TAI |
| unto these | מָֽה | mâ | ma |
| my daughters, | אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה | ʾeʿĕśe | eh-ay-SEH |
| or | לָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ | lāʾēlleh | la-A-LEH |
| children their unto | הַיּ֔וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
| which | א֥וֹ | ʾô | oh |
| they have born? | לִבְנֵיהֶ֖ן | libnêhen | leev-nay-HEN |
