Genesis 31:27
ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਭੱਜ ਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ? ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਾਵਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਗੀਤ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਚ-ਗਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਫ਼ਿਲ ਲੱਗਦੀ।

| tell | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| away thee sent have might I that me, | הִגַּ֣דְתָּ | higgadtā | hee-ɡAHD-ta |
| with mirth, | לִּ֔י | lî | lee |
| songs, with and | וָֽאֲשַׁלֵּחֲךָ֛ | wāʾăšallēḥăkā | va-uh-sha-lay-huh-HA |
| with tabret, | בְּשִׂמְחָ֥ה | bĕśimḥâ | beh-seem-HA |
| and with harp? | וּבְשִׁרִ֖ים | ûbĕširîm | oo-veh-shee-REEM |
| בְּתֹ֥ף | bĕtōp | beh-TOFE | |
| וּבְכִנּֽוֹר׃ | ûbĕkinnôr | oo-veh-hee-nore |
