ਰਾਖੇਲ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਬਖਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
