Genesis 26:20
ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਗਰਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਜੜ ਚਾਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਹ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਨ ਲੱਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਹੈ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਖੂਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਏਸੱਕ ਧਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹੀ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
