Genesis 1:6
ਦੂਸਰਾ ਦਿਨ-ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਹਿਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡਣ ਲਈ ਵਾਯੂਮੰਡਲ ਹੋਵੇ!”

| waters, the of | הַמָּ֑יִם | hammāyim | ha-MA-yeem |
| and let | וִיהִ֣י | wîhî | vee-HEE |
| it divide | מַבְדִּ֔יל | mabdîl | mahv-DEEL |
| בֵּ֥ין | bên | bane | |
| the waters | מַ֖יִם | mayim | MA-yeem |
| from the waters. | לָמָֽיִם׃ | lāmāyim | la-MA-yeem |
