Ezekiel 4:13
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਦਰਸਾਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।”

| of Israel | בְנֵֽי | bĕnê | veh-NAY |
| eat | יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| defiled their | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| לַחְמָ֖ם | laḥmām | lahk-MAHM | |
| bread | טָמֵ֑א | ṭāmēʾ | ta-MAY |
| among the Gentiles, | בַּגּוֹיִ֕ם | baggôyim | ba-ɡoh-YEEM |
| whither | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| אַדִּיחֵ֖ם | ʾaddîḥēm | ah-dee-HAME | |
| I will drive | שָֽׁם׃ | šām | shahm |
