Exodus 9:19
ਹੁਣ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਰੱਖੇਂ। ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹੁਣ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਥਾਂ ਰੱਖੀਂ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਾਂ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਗੜ੍ਹੇ ਹਰ ਉਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।’”

| man | בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה | baśśāde | ba-sa-DEH |
| and beast | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| which | הָֽאָדָ֨ם | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| found be shall | וְהַבְּהֵמָ֜ה | wĕhabbĕhēmâ | veh-ha-beh-hay-MA |
| in the field, | אֲשֶֽׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| not shall and | יִמָּצֵ֣א | yimmāṣēʾ | yee-ma-TSAY |
| be brought | בַשָּׂדֶ֗ה | baśśāde | va-sa-DEH |
| home, | וְלֹ֤א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| hail the | יֵֽאָסֵף֙ | yēʾāsēp | yay-ah-SAFE |
| shall come down | הַבַּ֔יְתָה | habbaytâ | ha-BA-ta |
| upon | וְיָרַ֧ד | wĕyārad | veh-ya-RAHD |
| shall they and them, die. | עֲלֵהֶ֛ם | ʿălēhem | uh-lay-HEM |
