ਉੱਥੇ ਸੀਨੇ-ਬੰਦ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਸਨ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਪੱਥਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ (ਯਾਕੂਬ) ਦੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਲਈ। ਹਰੇਕ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੁਹਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਕਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।

of Israel,	יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
twelve,	הֵ֛נָּה	hēnnâ	HAY-na
	שְׁתֵּ֥ים	šĕttêm	sheh-TAME
according to	עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה	ʿeśrē	es-RAY
names, their	עַל	ʿal	al
like the engravings	שְׁמֹתָ֑ם	šĕmōtām	sheh-moh-TAHM
of a signet,	פִּתּוּחֵ֤י	pittûḥê	pee-too-HAY
every one	חֹתָם֙	ḥōtām	hoh-TAHM
with	אִ֣ישׁ	ʾîš	eesh
his name,	עַל	ʿal	al
according to the twelve	שְׁמ֔וֹ	šĕmô	sheh-MOH
	לִשְׁנֵ֥ים	lišnêm	leesh-NAME
tribes.	עָשָׂ֖ר	ʿāśār	ah-SAHR
	שָֽׁבֶט׃	šābeṭ	SHA-vet
