Exodus 3:22
“ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਬਰਾਨੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿਸਰੀ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਮਿਸਰੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧੀਆ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਮੰਗਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡੋਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਪਾ ਦਿਓ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।”

| and jewels | וּכְלֵ֥י | ûkĕlê | oo-heh-LAY |
| gold, of | זָהָ֖ב | zāhāb | za-HAHV |
| and raiment: | וּשְׂמָלֹ֑ת | ûśĕmālōt | oo-seh-ma-LOTE |
| put shall ye and | וְשַׂמְתֶּ֗ם | wĕśamtem | veh-sahm-TEM |
| them upon | עַל | ʿal | al |
| your sons, | בְּנֵיכֶם֙ | bĕnêkem | beh-nay-HEM |
| upon and | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| your daughters; | בְּנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם | bĕnōtêkem | beh-NOH-tay-HEM |
| spoil shall ye and | וְנִצַּלְתֶּ֖ם | wĕniṣṣaltem | veh-nee-tsahl-TEM |
