Exodus 3:2
ਉਸ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ, ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਝਾੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਇਹ ਇਉਂ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਝਾੜੀ ਦੇਖੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਭਸਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਬਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।

| and, behold, | וְהִנֵּ֤ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| the bush | הַסְּנֶה֙ | hassĕneh | ha-seh-NEH |
| burned | בֹּעֵ֣ר | bōʿēr | boh-ARE |
| with fire, | בָּאֵ֔שׁ | bāʾēš | ba-AYSH |
| and the bush | וְהַסְּנֶ֖ה | wĕhassĕne | veh-ha-seh-NEH |
