Exodus 27:20
ਦੀਵੇ ਲਈ ਤੇਲ “ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿਉ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਲਈ ਦੀਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਬਲਦਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧੀਆ ਜੈਤੂਨ ਦਾ ਤੇਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣ।

| pure thee | שֶׁ֣מֶן | šemen | SHEH-men |
| oil | זַ֥יִת | zayit | ZA-yeet |
| olive | זָ֛ךְ | zāk | zahk |
| beaten | כָּתִ֖ית | kātît | ka-TEET |
| for the light, | לַמָּא֑וֹר | lammāʾôr | la-ma-ORE |
| lamp the cause to | לְהַֽעֲלֹ֥ת | lĕhaʿălōt | leh-ha-uh-LOTE |
| to burn | נֵ֖ר | nēr | nare |
| always. | תָּמִֽיד׃ | tāmîd | ta-MEED |
