Exodus 27:16
“ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕਣ ਲਈ 20 ਹੱਥ ਲੰਮਾ ਪਰਦਾ ਬਣਾਈਂ। ਇਹ ਪਰਦਾ ਮਹੀਨ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਲੇ ਬੈਂਗਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲ ਧਾਗੇ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਪਰਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਸੀਦਾਕਾਰੀ ਕਰੀਂ। ਉਸ ਪਰਦੇ ਲਈ ਚਾਰ ਚੋਬਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰ ਚੀਥੀਆਂ ਹੋਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

| scarlet, and | וְתוֹלַ֧עַת | wĕtôlaʿat | veh-toh-LA-at |
| שָׁנִ֛י | šānî | sha-NEE | |
| and fine twined | וְשֵׁ֥שׁ | wĕšēš | veh-SHAYSH |
| linen, | מָשְׁזָ֖ר | mošzār | mohsh-ZAHR |
| wrought with needlework: | מַֽעֲשֵׂ֣ה | maʿăśē | ma-uh-SAY |
| רֹקֵ֑ם | rōqēm | roh-KAME | |
| pillars their and | עַמֻּֽדֵיהֶם֙ | ʿammudêhem | ah-moo-day-HEM |
| shall be four, | אַרְבָּעָ֔ה | ʾarbāʿâ | ar-ba-AH |
| and their sockets | וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֖ם | wĕʾadnêhem | veh-ad-nay-HEM |
