Exodus 15:8
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਗਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਕੰਧ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗਹਿਰਾਈਆਂ ਤਾਈਂ ਠੋਸ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।

| the floods | נִצְּב֥וּ | niṣṣĕbû | nee-tseh-VOO |
| upright stood | כְמוֹ | kĕmô | heh-MOH |
| as | נֵ֖ד | nēd | nade |
| an heap, | נֹֽזְלִ֑ים | nōzĕlîm | noh-zeh-LEEM |
| and the depths | קָֽפְא֥וּ | qāpĕʾû | ka-feh-OO |
| congealed were | תְהֹמֹ֖ת | tĕhōmōt | teh-hoh-MOTE |
| in the heart | בְּלֶב | bĕleb | beh-LEV |
| of the sea. | יָֽם׃ | yām | yahm |
