Exodus 13 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ,

2 `Sanctify to Me every first-born, opening any womb among the sons of Israel, among man and among beast; it `is' Mine.'“ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਉਹ ਨਰ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਨਰ ਬੱਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਨਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”

3 And Moses saith unto the people, `Remember this day `in' which ye have gone out from Egypt, from the house of servants, for by strength of hand hath Jehovah brought you out from this, and any thing fermented is not eaten;ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਓ। ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰਾਇਆ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਖਮੀਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।

4 To-day ye are going out, in the month of Abib.ਅੱਜ ਹਬੀਬ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।

5 `And it hath been, when Jehovah bringeth thee in unto the land of the Canaanite, and of the Hittite, and of the Amorite, and of the Hivite, and of the Jebusite, which He hath sworn to thy fathers to give to thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou hast done this service in this month.ਜਦੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਨਾਨੀਆਂ, ਹਿੱਤੀਆਂ, ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ, ਹਿੱਵੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਿਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

6 `Seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, and in the seventh day `is' a feast to Jehovah;“ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤੀਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਮਹਾਂ ਭੋਜ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਭੋਜ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਆਦਰ ਦਰਸਾਵੇਗਾ।

7 unleavened things are eaten the seven days, and any thing fermented is not seen with thee; yea, leaven is not seen with thee in all thy border.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਖਮੀਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਵੀ ਖਮੀਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।

8 `And thou hast declared to thy son in that day, saying, ``It is' because of what Jehovah did to me, in my going out from Egypt,ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਅਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਭੋਜਨ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਸੀ।’

9 and it hath been to thee for a sign on thy hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, so that the law of Jehovah is in thy mouth, for by a strong hand hath Jehovah brought thee out from Egypt;“ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੁਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰਹੇ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਸੀ।

10 and thou hast kept this statute at its appointed season from days to days.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ।

11 `And it hath been, when Jehovah bringeth thee in unto the land of the Canaanite, as He hath sworn to thee and to thy fathers, and hath given it to thee,“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਉੱਥੇ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ,

12 that thou hast caused every one opening a womb to pass over to Jehovah, and every firstling -- the increase of beasts which thou hast: the males `are' Jehovah's.ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ। ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਨਰ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

13 `And every firstling of an ass thou dost ransom with a lamb, and if thou dost not ransom `it', then thou hast beheaded it: and every first-born of man among thy sons thou dost ransom.ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਲੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਖੋਤਾ ਖਰੀਦਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਗਿੱਚੀ ਤੋੜ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

14 `And it hath been, when thy son asketh thee hereafter, saying, What `is' this? that thou hast said unto him, By strength of hand hath Jehovah brought us out from Egypt, from a house of servants;“ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਇਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ?’ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ, ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸਾਂ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ।

15 yea, it cometh to pass, when Pharaoh hath been pained to send us away, that Jehovah doth slay every first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of man even unto the first-born of beast; therefore I am sacrificing to Jehovah all opening a womb who `are' males, and every first-born of my sons I ransom;ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਜ਼ਿੱਦੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਪਲੋਠੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। (ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।) ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਨਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਖਰੀਦਦਾ ਹਾਂ।’

16 and it hath been for a token on thy hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes, for by strength of hand hath Jehovah brought us out of Egypt.'ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਾਗੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਇਆ।”

17 And it cometh to pass in Pharaoh's sending the people away, that God hath not led them the way of the land of the Philistines, for it `is' near; for God said, `Lest the people repent in their seeing war, and have turned back towards Egypt;'ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਫ਼ਿਲੀਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੜਕ ਵੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਰਾਹ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਰਾਸਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੜਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤ ਜਾਣ।”

18 and God turneth round the people the way of the wilderness of the Red Sea, and by fifties have the sons of Israel gone up from the land of Egypt.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੋਰ ਰਸਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀ ਲਾਲ ਸਾਗਰ ਵੱਲ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਉਹ ਜੰਗ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ-ਬਰ-ਤਿਆਰ ਸਨ।

19 And Moses taketh the bones of Joseph with him, for he certainly caused the sons of Israel to swear, saying, `God doth certainly inspect you, and ye have brought up my bones from this with you.'ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਘਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਈਆਂ। (ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇ, ਮੇਰੀ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਣੀਆਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ।”)

20 And they journey from Succoth, and encamp in Etham at the extremity of the wilderness,ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੁੱਕੋਥ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਏਥਾਮ ਵਿਖੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ। ਏਥਾਮ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੀ।

21 and Jehovah is going before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them in the way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give light to them, to go by day and by night;ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਰਸਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ। ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਲੰਮੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਲੰਮੀ ਲਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਰਸਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ। ਇਹ ਅੱਗ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੀ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਣ।

22 He removeth not the pillar of the cloud by day, and the pillar of the fire by night, `from' before the people.ਲੰਮਾ ਬੱਦਲ ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਲਾਟ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ।
