ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾ ਵਗਾਈ। ਹਵਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਵਗਦੀ ਰਹੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਸਵੇਰ ਹੋਈ ਹਵਾ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਟਿੱਡੀਆਂ ਲੈ ਆਈ।
