Psalm 119:88
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਰਸਾਉ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਣ ਦਿਉ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋਂਗੇ।

ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਲਾਹ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਦਾਲਥ ਮੈਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿਉ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਣ ਦਿਉ।

Psalm 132:12
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਦਾਊਦ, ਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਰਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
