Ecclesiastes 3:18
ਕੀ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ? ਮੈਂ ਇਨਸਾਨਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ: “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਦੇਖਣ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਕੱੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਹੀ ਹਨ।

| might manifest | הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים | hāʾĕlōhîm | ha-ay-loh-HEEM |
| them, and that they | וְלִרְא֕וֹת | wĕlirʾôt | veh-leer-OTE |
| see might | שְׁהֶם | šĕhem | sheh-HEM |
| that they | בְּהֵמָ֥ה | bĕhēmâ | beh-hay-MA |
| themselves are beasts. | הֵ֖מָּה | hēmmâ | HAY-ma |
