Ecclesiastes 12 - WEB (Punjabi)

1 Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the evil days come, and the years draw near, When you will say, "I have no pleasure in them;"ਬਿਰਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ, ਬੁਰੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋਂਗੇ: “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ।”

2 Before the sun, the light, the moon, and the stars are darkened, And the clouds return after the rain;ਇਸਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਸੂਰਜ, ਚੰਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰੇ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਣ। ਅਤੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਇੱਕ ਤੂਫਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਤੂਫਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਉਣ।

3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, And the strong men shall bow themselves, And the grinders cease because they are few, And those who look out of the windows are darkened,ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਝੁਕ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੰਦ ਡਿੱਗ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਮੱਧਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।

4 And the doors shall be shut in the street; When the sound of the grinding is low, And one shall rise up at the voice of a bird, And all the daughters of music shall be brought low;ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਵੀ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਟਾ ਪੀਹਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੱਕੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕੇਂਗੇ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਜਗਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੌਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕੋਗੇ।

5 Yes, they shall be afraid of heights, And terrors will be in the way; And the almond tree shall blossom, And the grasshopper shall be a burden, And desire shall fail; Because man goes to his everlasting home, And the mourners go about the streets:ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰਸਤੇ ਦੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਠੇਡਾ ਖਾਕੇ ਡਿਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਡਰੋਗੇ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਾਲ ਅਖਰੋਟ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਫੇਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਚੱਲਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਘਾਹ ਦੇ ਟਿੱਡੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਘਸੀਟੋਁਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਕਸਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ। ਤਾਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਘਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਕਬਰ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

6 Before the silver cord is severed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher is broken at the spring, Or the wheel broken at the cistern,ਮੌਤ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਵਾਨ ਹੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰੋ, ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੀ ਜਂਜੀਰੀ ਪਾਟ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਭਾਂਡਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਵੇ, ਝਰਨੇ ਤੇ ਘੜੇ ਵਾਂਗ, ਅਤੇ ਪਹੀਆ ਦਾ, ਹੇਠਾਂ ਖੂਹ ਵੱਲ ਭੱਜਣ ਵਾਂਗ।

7 And the dust returns to the earth as it was, And the spirit returns to God who gave it.ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਧੂੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਤ ਜਾਣ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

8 Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher; All is vanity!ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਰਬਹੀਣ, ਉਸਤਾਦ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਅਰਬਹੀਣ ਹੈ।”

9 Further, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge. Yes, he pondered, sought out, and set in order many proverbs.ਸਿਟ੍ਟਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆਨ, ਸਿੱਖਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਰੱਖ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਉਤਾਂ ਇੱਕਤ੍ਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।

10 The Preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written blamelessly, words of truth.ਉਸਤਾਦ ਨੇ ਸਹੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਸੱਚੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ।

11 The words of the wise are like goads; and like nails well fastened are words from the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.ਸਿਆਣੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਮੇਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਟੁੱਟਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਜੜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

12 Furthermore, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰੋ, ਪਰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਵੱਧਾਨ ਰਹੋ। ਲੋਕ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਲਿਖਣੀਆਂ ਬੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਕਾੱ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।

13 This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.ਹੁਣ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ? ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਗੱਲ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਾ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਲੋਕੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਪਤ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇਕੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਦੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਅਮਲ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

14 For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.
