Deuteronomy 32:2
ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਬਰੱਖਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਤਰਨਗੀਆਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਡਿੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਮਲ ਘਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹਰੇ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੈ।

Psalm 72:6

ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਰੱਖਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਪਾ ਸੱਕੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਉਗਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸਤੇ ਵਾਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਸੀਸਮਈ ਹੈ।
