Deuteronomy 16 - WEB (Punjabi)

1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to Yahweh your God; for in the month of Abib Yahweh your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night.ਪਸਹ “ਅਬੀਬ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦੇ ਆਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਸਹ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ।

2 You shall sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Yahweh shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇਗਾ। ਉੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਸਹ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਗ ਜਾਂ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shall you eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.ਇਸ ਬਲੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਾ ਖਾਉ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਖਮੀਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਪਤੀਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਰੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ‘ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ’ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਝੱਲੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਕਾਹਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਛੱਡਣ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

4 There shall be no yeast seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which you sacrifice the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਘਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਖਮੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਾਸ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਸਵੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਖਾਧਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

5 You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which Yahweh your God gives you;“ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਸਹ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਦਿਉ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

6 but at the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Egypt.ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਸਹ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਕਰੇ। ਉੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਸਹ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਸੂਰਜ ਛੁਪਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਇਹ ਪਰਬ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਸੀ।

7 You shall roast and eat it in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose: and you shall turn in the morning, and go to your tents.ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਸਹ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਿਂਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread; and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Yahweh your God; you shall do no work [therein].ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਛੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਬਿਨਾ ਖਮੀਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਖਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੱਤਵੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਆਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਸ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

9 Seven weeks shall you number to you: from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain shall you begin to number seven weeks.ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਬ (ਪੁਂਤੇਕੁਸਤ) “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਵਾਢੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਗਿਨਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।

10 You shall keep the feast of weeks to Yahweh your God with a tribute of a freewill-offering of your hand, which you shall give, according as Yahweh your God blesses you:ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਬ ਮਨਾਉ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਨ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਖਾਸ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉ। ਇਹ ਨਿਆਂ ਇਹ ਸੋਚਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਕੁ ਬਰਕਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

11 and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your man-servant, and your maid-servant, and the Levite who is within your gates, and the foreigner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are in the midst of you, in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਉ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣੇਗਾ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ, ਧੀਆਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ, ਲੇਵੀਆਂ, ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਯਤੀਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਜਾਉ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

12 You shall remember that you were a bondservant in Egypt: and you shall observe and do these statutes.ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਨੂੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮੰਨੋ।

13 You shall keep the feast of tents seven days, after that you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your winepress:ਡੇਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਰਬ “ਖਲਵਾੜੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈਨ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਦ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਬ ਮਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

14 and you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your man-servant, and your maid-servant, and the Levite, and the foreigner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your gates.ਸਾਰੇ ਮਿਲਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣੋ-ਤੁਸੀਂ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ, ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ, ਯਤੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧਵਾਵਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

15 Seven days shall you keep a feast to Yahweh your God in the place which Yahweh shall choose; because Yahweh your God will bless you in all your increase, and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਪਰਬ ਮਨਾਉ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਕਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Yahweh your God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tents; and they shall not appear before Yahweh empty:“ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਖਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤੀਰੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇ।

17 every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yahweh your God which he has given you.ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦਾਨ ਕਰੇ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੋਚਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਦਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

18 Judges and officers shall you make you in all your gates, which Yahweh your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ “ਹਰ ਉਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣੋ। ਹਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ, ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।

19 You shall not wrest justice: you shall not respect persons; neither shall you take a bribe; for a bribe does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਰਿਆਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਢੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਬਦਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਪੈਸਾ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

20 That which is altogether just shall you follow, that you may live, and inherit the land which Yahweh your God gives you.ਨੇਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ! ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਨੇਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੋਂਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

21 You shall not plant you an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the altar of Yahweh your God, which you shall make you.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ “ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੋ, ਇਸਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਅਸ਼ੇਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਰੁੱਖ ਨਾ ਲਾਵੋ।

22 Neither shall you set yourself up a pillar; which Yahweh your God hates.ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਪੱਥਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
