Amos 9:9
ਮੈਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਬਿਖੇਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਇੰਝ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਛਾਨਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਛਾਣਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਢੇਲੇ ਫ਼ੜੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

| nations, | יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| as like | כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר | kaʾăšer | ka-uh-SHER |
| corn is sifted | יִנּ֙וֹעַ֙ | yinnôʿa | YEE-noh-AH |
| in a sieve, | בַּכְּבָרָ֔ה | bakkĕbārâ | ba-keh-va-RA |
| not shall yet | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| the least grain | יִפּ֥וֹל | yippôl | YEE-pole |
| fall | צְר֖וֹר | ṣĕrôr | tseh-RORE |
