ਪਰ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਕਬੂਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।” ਨਅਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸੁਗਾਤ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
