ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ, ਕੂਥਾਹ, ਅੱਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਮਾਥ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਰਵਇਮ ਦਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਵਸਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਲ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।

placed
וַיֹּ֙שֶׁב֙wayyōšebva-YOH-SHEV
cities
the

them
בְּעָרֵ֣יbĕʿārêbeh-ah-RAY
of
Samaria
שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹןšōmĕrônshoh-meh-RONE
instead
תַּ֖חַתtaḥatTA-haht
children
the

בְּנֵ֣יbĕnêbeh-NAY
of
Israel:
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑לyiśrāʾēlyees-ra-ALE
possessed
