ਤਾਂ ਕਪਤਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੇ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਹਰ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਲਏ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਜੱਥੇ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਜੱਥਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ।

ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਯੋਹਯਾਦਾ ਨੇ ਕਰੇਬੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਸਦਿਅ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਂਹ ਖੁਆਈ ਫੇਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਯੋਆਸ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ।
