ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਮੀਕਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਇਉਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ? ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ?” ਮੀਕਲ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ’ਚ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਦੇਵੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ।”
