ਯਰੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ 2,700 ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ। ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਊਬੇਨ, ਗਾਦ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਦੀ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
