1 Chronicles 24 - BBE (Punjabi)

1 Now the divisions into which the sons of Aaron were grouped were these: the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਲੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਇਉਂ ਸਨ: ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਾਦਾਬ, ਅਬੀਹੂ, ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਸਨ।

2 But Nadab and Abihu came to their end before their father, and had no children; so Eleazar and Ithamar did the work of priests.ਪਰ ਨਾਦਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੀਹੂ ਬੇਔਲਾਦੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ’ਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।

3 And David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, made distribution of them into their positions for their work.ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਅਲੱਗ-ਅਲੱਗ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ-ਜੋ ਕੰਮ ਸੌਂਪੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਨ। ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੀਮਲਕ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਾਦੋਕ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੀਮਲਕ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਦੇ।

4 And there were more chiefs among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar; and this is how they were grouped: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, all heads of families; and of the sons of Ithamar, heads of families, there were eight.ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਇ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ। ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੱਠ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ।

5 So they were put into groups, by the Lord's decision, one with another; for there were rulers of the holy place and rulers of the house of God among the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.ਗੁਣਾ ਸੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਥਾਪਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜਕ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ।

6 And Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was a Levite, put down their names in writing, the king being present with the rulers, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and the heads of families of the priests and the Levites; one family being taken for Eleazar and then one for Ithamar, and so on.ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਨਥਨਿਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੰਸ਼ਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਲਿਖਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਉਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ: ਸਾਦੋਕ ਜਾਜਕ, ਅਹੀਮਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ। ਅਹੀਮਲਕ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਗੁਣਾ ਸੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਉਂ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਇਉਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਈਥਾਮਾਰ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵੰਡੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।

7 Now the first name to come out was that of Jehoiarib; the second Jedaiah,ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਯਹੋਯਾਰੀਬ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਦੂਜਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਯਿਦਅਯਾਹ ਦਾ।

8 The third Harim, the fourth Seorim,ਤੀਜਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਹਾਰੀਮ ਦਾ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਓਰੀਮ ਦਾ।

9 The fifth Malchijah, the sixth Mijamin,ਪੰਜਵਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਮਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਮੀਯਾਮੀਨ ਦਾ।

10 The seventh Hakkoz, the eighth Abijah,ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਹੱਕੋਸ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਠਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ।

11 The ninth Jeshua, the tenth Shecaniah,ਨੌਵਾਂ ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਤੇ ਦਸਵਾਂ ਸ਼ਕਨਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਸੀ।

12 The eleventh Eliashib, the twelfth Jakim,ਗਿਆਰ੍ਹਵਾਂ ਅਲਯਾਸ਼ੀਬ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਯਾਕੀਮ ਦਾ ਸੀ।

13 The thirteenth Huppah, the fourteenth Jeshebeab,ਤੇਰ੍ਹਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਹੁੱਪਾਹ ਦਾ ਤੇ ਚੌਦਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਯਸ਼ਬਆਬ ਦਾ।

14 The fifteenth Bilgah, the sixteenth Immer,ਪੰਦਰਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਬਿਲਗਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੋਲ੍ਹਵਾਂ ਇੰਮੇਰ ਦਾ।

15 The seventeenth Hezir, the eighteenth Happizzez,ਸਤਾਰ੍ਹਵਾਂ ਹੇਜ਼ੀਰ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਠਾਰ੍ਹਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਹੱਪੀਸੇਂਸ ਦਾ।

16 The nineteenth Pethahiah, the twentieth Jehezkel,ਉਨ੍ਹੀਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਪਥਹਯਾਹ, 20ਵਾਂ ਯਹਜ਼ਕੇਲ ਦਾ ਸੀ।

17 The twenty-first Jachin, the twenty-second Gamul,ਇੱਕੀਵਾਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਯਾਕੀਨ ਦਾ 22ਵਾਂ ਗਾਮੂਲ ਦਾ।

18 The twenty-third Delaiah, the twenty-fourth Maaziah.ਤੇਈਵਾਂ ਦਲਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਵੀਵਾਂ ਮਅਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਸੀ।

19 So they were put into their different groups, to take their places in the house of the Lord, in agreement with the rules made by Aaron their father, as the Lord, the God of Israel, had given him orders.ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।

20 And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.ਦੂਜੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਇਉਂ ਸਨ: ਅਮਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ੂਬਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੂਬਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਹਦਯਾਹ।

21 Of Rehabiah; of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.ਰਹਬਯਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਿੱਸ਼ਾਯਾਹ (ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।)

22 Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.ਯਿੱਸਹਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਲੋਮੋਥ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਲੋਮੋਥ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹਥ।

23 And the sons of Hebron: Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.ਹਬਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਯਰੀਯਾਹ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰਯਾਹ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ, ਯਹਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਤੀਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਕਮਆਮ ਚੌਥਾ ਸੀ।

24 The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.ਉਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਾਮੀਰ ਸੀ।

25 The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.ਯਿੱਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਿੱਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ।

26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; the sons of Jaaziah.ਮਰਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਮਹਲੀ ਤੇ ਮੂਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਅਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਸੀ।

27 The sons of Merari: of Jaaziah, Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri.ਮਰਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਅਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ੋਹਮ, ਜ਼ੱਕੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਬਰੀ ਸਨ।

28 Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.ਮਹਲੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਕੋਈ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਜੰਮਿਆ।

29 Of Kish: the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel.ਕੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਯਰਹਮੇਲ ਸੀ।

30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites by their families.ਮੂਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਹਲੀ, ਏਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਰੀਮੋਥ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਆਗੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

31 Selection was made of these in the same way as of their brothers the sons of Aaron, David the king being present, with Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites; the families of the chief in the same way as those of his younger brother.ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ, ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਏ। ਜਾਜਕ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾਊਦ, ਸਾਦੋਕ, ਅਹੀਮਲਕ, ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਏ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਵੱਡੇ-ਛੋਟੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
