ଶଲୋମନ ଇଉଫ୍ ରଟେିଶ ଫରାତ୍ ନଦୀଠାରୁ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶ ଓ ମିଶର ସୀମା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କଲେ। ଏହି ଦେଶଗୁଡିକ ଶ ଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାର ଓ ସମ୍ମାନ ପଠାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ଜୀବନସାରା ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଜା ହାଇେ ରହିଲେ।

ତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ଶଲ୍ମନଷେର ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ନିଜର ଅଧିନସ୍ଥ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ହାେେଶୟ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବାକୁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଗତ ଭାବରେ ଦାନ ଦେଲେ।

ଶଲୋମନ ତିପ୍ସହଠାରୁ ଘସା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଫରାତ୍ ନଦୀର ପଶ୍ଚିମ ପାରିସ୍ଥିତ ସମସ୍ତ ଦେଶଗୁଡିକ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗର ସୀମା ରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଥିଲା।
ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 10:27
କିନ୍ତୁ କେତେ ଖଳ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି କହିଲେ, କମେିତି ଏ ଲୋକ ଆମକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବ? ସମାନେେ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଖରାପ କଥା କହିଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଉପହାର ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ବାରଣ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଶାଉଲ ନୀରବ ରହିଲେ।
