Revelation 2:1-7 in Oriya

1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

1 ଏଫିସ ନଗରର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ଏହା ଲେଖ :
Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

2 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଜାଣେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କର ଓ ଅସୀମ ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯଧରି ରଖିଥାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର ନାହିଁ, ଏହା ମଧ୍ଯ ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ପ୍ ରରେିତ ନ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ ରରେିତ ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି ; ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିଛ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଯେ ମିଥ୍ଯାବାଦୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି, ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଚିହ୍ନି ପାରିଛ।

3 ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବହୁତ ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ ଅଛି କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ନାମ ନିମନ୍ତେ କଷ୍ଟ ସହିଛି ଓ ଏସବୁ କରିବା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଲାନ୍ତ ହାଇେ ପଡ଼ିନାହଁ।
And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

4 କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମାରେ ଏହି କଥା ଅଛି : ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆରମ୍ଭ ରେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ ରମେ ଥିଲା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ପ୍ ରମେ ହରାଇଛ।
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

5 ତେଣୁ କେଉଁଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପତନର ଆରମ୍ଭ ହାଇେଅଛି, ତାହା ମନେ ପକାଅ। ହୃଦୟ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି ଅନୁତାପ କର ଓ ପୂର୍ବରୁ କରୁଥିବା କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ବଦଳିବ ନାହିଁ ତବେେ ମୁଁ ଆସି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୀପରୁଖାକୁ ତା'ର ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଅଲଗା କରି ଦବେି।

6 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତକେ ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିକଲାୟତୀୟମାନଙ୍କର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଳାପକୁ ଘୃଣା କର। ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯକୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ।

7 ଯାହାର ଶୁଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ କାନ ଅଛି, ମଣ୍ଡଳୀଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଆତ୍ମା କହୁଥିବା କଥା ସବୁ ସେ ଶୁଣିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
