Proverbs 24
17 ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତ୍ରୁ ସମସ୍ଯା ରେ ଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହସ ନାହିଁ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ପଡ଼ିୟାଏ, ସହେି ସମୟରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଖୁସି ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
18 ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏପରି କର, ତାହା ମଧ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦେଖିବେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏପରି କର୍ମ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଖୁସି ହବେେ ନାହିଁ। ଏହାପ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତ୍ରୁକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିପାରନ୍ତି।
17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
18 Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
