Proverbs 20 - YLT (Oriya)

1 Wine `is' a scorner -- strong drink `is' noisy, And any going astray in it is not wise.ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଓ ମଦ୍ଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରି ବାହାରକୁ ନଇୟୋଏ। ଯେ କହେି ସେଥି ରେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହୁଏ, ସେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ହାଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ।

2 The fear of a king `is' a growl as of a young lion, He who is causing him to be wroth is wronging his soul.ରାଜାଙ୍କର ରାଗ ସିଂହର ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ ପରି, ଯେ ତାଙ୍କର କୋରଧ ଜନ୍ମାଏ, ସେ ନିଜେ ତା'ର ଜୀବନ ପ୍ରତି ବିପଦ ଆଣେ।

3 An honour to a man is cessation from strife, And every fool intermeddleth.ଯେ କୌଣସି ନିର୍ବୋଧ ସର୍ବଦା ୟୁକ୍ତି କରେ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା ସହେି ଲୋକକୁ ସମ୍ମାନ କର ଯେ ୟୁକ୍ତି କରିବାକୁ ବାରଣ କରେ।

4 Because of winter the slothful plougheth not, He asketh in harvest, and there is nothing.ଜଣେ ଅଳସୁଆ ତା'ର ଅଳସୁଆପଣ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଶସ୍ଯ ବୁଣେ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଫସଲ କଟା ସମୟରେ ସେ ଫସଲ ଖାଜେିଲେ ପାଏ ନାହିଁ।

5 Counsel in the heart of a man `is' deep water, And a man of understanding draweth it up.ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ମନର ଭାବନା ଗଭୀର କୂଅର ଜଳ ପରି। ମାତ୍ର ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ଲୋକ ସହେି ଗଭୀର ଜଳକୁ କାଢ଼ି ପାରିବ।

6 A multitude of men proclaim each his kindness, And a man of stedfastness who doth find?ବହୁତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଜଣେ ପ୍ରଭୁଭକ୍ତ ଖାଜେ, କିନ୍ତୁ କିଏ ଖାଜେି ପାରିବ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ୟିଏକି ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସନୀଯ।

7 The righteous is walking habitually in his integrity, O the happiness of his sons after him!ଯେଉଁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ସରଳତା ରେ ବାସ କରେ, ତା' ଉତ୍ତା ରେ ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ, ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଧନ୍ଯ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।

8 A king sitting on a throne of judgment, Is scattering with his eyes all evil,ଯେଉଁ ରାଜା ବିଚାର ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ବ ସେ, ସେ ନିଜର ସ୍ବଚକ୍ଷୁ ରେ ଅସତ୍ଯ ବିଷଯସବୁକୁ ପୁଙ୍ଖାନୁପୁଙ୍ଖ ରୂପେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।

9 Who saith, `I have purified my heart, I have been cleansed from my sin?'ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମନ ନିର୍ମଳ କରିଅଛୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପାପରୁ ପରିଷ୍କୃତ ଅଟୁ, ଏହା କହେି କହିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

10 A stone and a stone, an ephah and an ephah, Even both of them `are' an abomination to Jehovah.ନାନା ପ୍ରକାର ମାପ ଓଜନ ରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଠକନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଘୃଣିତ।

11 Even by his actions a youth maketh himself known, Whether his work be pure or upright.ଏପରିକି ଜଣେ େଛାଟ ପିଲା କରୁଥିବା କର୍ମରୁ ଜଣାୟାଏ, ଯଦିବା ସେ ଯାହା କରେ ତାହା ନିର୍ମଳ ଏବଂ ସରଳ।

12 A hearing ear, and a seeing eye, Jehovah hath made even both of them.କାନ ରେ ଶୁଣିବା ଆଖି ରେ ଦେଖିବା ଏହି ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

13 Love not sleep, lest thou become poor, Open thine eyes -- be satisfied `with' bread.ନିଦ୍ରାକୁ ଭଲ ପାଅ ନାହିଁ। ନ ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦରିଦ୍ର ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କର୍ମଦକ୍ଷ ହୁଅ, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ହବେ।

14 `Bad, bad,' saith the buyer, And going his way then he boasteth himself.କିଣିବା ଲୋକ କ ହେ, ଭଲ ନୁହେଁ, ଭଲ ନୁହେଁ, ଏହାର ମୂଲ୍ଯ ବହୁତ ଅଧିକ। ମାତ୍ର ଆପଣା ବାଟରେ ଗଲା ବେଳେ ଦର୍ପ କରେ।

15 Substance, gold, and a multitude of rubies, Yea, a precious vessel, `are' lips of knowledge.ସୁନା ଓ ଅଳଙ୍କାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଧନୀ କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ, ସେ ଏହି ଅଳଙ୍କାରଠାରୁ ମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ୍ ଅଟେ।

16 Take his garment when a stranger hath been surety, And for strangers pledge it.ଅପରିଚିତ ଲୋକ ପାଇଁ ଯେ ଲଗାହୁଏ, ତାହାର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନିଅ। ପୁଣି ଯେ କହେି ବିଦେଶୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜାମିନ ହୁଏ ତାହାକୁ ବନ୍ଧକ ରଖ।

17 Sweet to a man `is' the bread of falsehood, And afterwards is his mouth filled `with' gravel.ମିଥ୍ଯା ଅର୍ଜିତ ଆହାର ମନୁଷ୍ଯକୁ ମିଠା ଲାଗେ। ମାତ୍ର ପଛ ରେ ତା'ର ପାଟି ଗୋଡ଼ି ରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବେ।

18 Purposes by counsel thou dost establish, And with plans make thou war.ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ସଂକଳ୍ପ ସ୍ଥିର ହବେ। ମାତ୍ର ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ୟାଅ ଭଲ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର।

19 A revealer of secret counsels is the busybody, And for a deceiver `with' his lips make not thyself surety.ଯେ ଖଚୁଆ ହାଇେ ବୁଲେ, ସେ ଗୁପ୍ତକଥା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତା' ସଙ୍ଗେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାର ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ ରଖ ନାହିଁ। ଯେ ଗପିବାକୁ ଭଲ ପାଏ।

20 Whoso is vilifying his father and his mother, Extinguished is his lamp in blackness of darkness.ଯେ ଆପଣା ପିତା କି ଆପଣା ମାତାଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦିଏ, ଘାରେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ତା'ର ପ୍ରଦୀପ ଲିଭିୟିବ।

21 An inheritance gotten wrongly at first, Even its latter end is not blessed.ଧନ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ହଠାତ୍ ମିଳିପା ରେ ଓ ସହଜ ରେ ଲାଭ ହୁଏ, ପୁଣି ଶଷେ ରେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦୟୁକ୍ତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।

22 Do not say, `I recompense evil,' Wait for Jehovah, and He delivereth thee.ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଫରୋଇ ଦବେି ଏହିପରି ଚିନ୍ତା କର ନାହିଁ, ଯଦି କହେି କିଛି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ କରେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କର, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ।

23 An abomination to Jehovah `are' a stone and a stone, And balances of deceit `are' not good.ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓଜନ ଓ ମାପ ରେ ଠକି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଘୃଣାର ବିଷଯ, ଅର୍ଥାତ ଦଣ୍ଡି ରେ ଠକିବା ନିତାନ୍ତ ଖରାପ।

24 From Jehovah `are' the steps of a man, And man -- how understandeth he his way?ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ପାଦଗତି ହୁଏ, ତେଣୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଆପଣା ବାଟ ଠିକ୍ ରୂପେ ବୁଝିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।

25 A snare to a man `is' he hath swallowed a holy thing, And after vows to make inquiry.ବିନା ଚିନ୍ତା କରି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲେ ଏହା ଭୟଜନକ ଅଟେ, ମୁଁ ଏହି ଉପହାର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବ। ଏବଂ ତା'ପ ରେ ସହେି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ପୁନଃବିଚାର କରାୟାଏ।

26 A wise king is scattering the wicked, And turneth back on them the wheel.ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ରାଜା ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଲଗା କରେ, ଶସ୍ଯରୁ ଅଗାଡ଼ି ଅଲଗା କଲାପରି ତା' ଉପ ରେ ସେ ଚକ୍ର ବୁଲାଏ।

27 The breath of man `is' a lamp of Jehovah, Searching all the inner parts of the heart.ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ଆତ୍ମା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଦୀପପରି ଏହା ଆତ୍ମାର ସମସ୍ତ ଅନ୍ତରାଳ ବିଷଯ ପରିପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ।

28 Kindness and truth keep a king, And he hath supported by kindness his throne.ଦୟା ଓ ସତ୍ଯତା ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରେ। ପୁଣି ଦୟାଦ୍ବାରା ତାହାର ସିଂହାସନ ସ୍ଥିର ହୁଏ।

29 The beauty of young men is their strength, And the honour of old men is grey hairs.ୟୁବକମାନଙ୍କ ବଳ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଭୂଷଣ। ବୃଦ୍ଧମାନଙ୍କର ପକ୍ବ କେଶ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶାେଭା।

30 The bandages of a wound thou removest with the evil, Also the plagues of the inner parts of the heart!ଅସତ ମାର୍ଗ କ୍ଷତିଜନକ ପ୍ରହାର ରେ ପରିଷ୍କାର କରେ, ଆଘାତ ନିଜ ଅନ୍ତରାଳଯକୁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରେ।
