Proverbs 11 - BBE (Oriya)

1 Scales of deceit are hated by the Lord, but a true weight is his delight.ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିଥ୍ଯାର ନିକିତିକୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସଠିକ ଓଜନକୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି।

2 When pride comes, there comes shame, but wisdom is with the quiet in spirit.ଗର୍ବ ଲଜ୍ଜା ଆଣେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ନମ୍ରତା ଜ୍ଞାନ ଆଣେ।

3 The righteousness of the upright will be their guide, but the twisted ways of the false will be their destruction.ସତ୍ଯପ୍ରିଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସରଳତା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପଥ ଦଖାଇବେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ କୁଟିଳାଚରଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନାଶ କରିବ।

4 Wealth is of no profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness keeps a man safe from death.ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କୋରଧର ଦିନ ରେ ଧନ ନିଷ୍ଫଳ ଅଟେ, ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ମୃତ୍ଯୁରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବ।

5 The righteousness of the good man will make his way straight, but the sin of the evil-doer will be the cause of his fall.ସତ୍ଯପ୍ରିଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ତାହାର ପଥ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶକ ହବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ଦରଜା ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ଦ୍ବାରା ଧ୍ବଂସ ହବେ।

6 The righteousness of the upright will be their salvation, but the false will themselves be taken in their evil designs.ସତ୍ଯପ୍ରିଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତକ ଲୋକ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଅଭିଳାଷ ଦ୍ବାରା ଧରା ପଡ଼ିବେ।

7 At the death of an upright man his hope does not come to an end, but the hope of the evil-doer comes to destruction.ଯେତବେେଳେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ମ ରେ ତାହାର ଭରସା ନଷ୍ଟ ହୁଏ ଓ ଅଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କର ଆଶା ଧ୍ବଂସ ହୁଏ।

8 The upright man is taken out of trouble, and in his place comes the sinner.ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ସମସ୍ଯାରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଏ ଏବଂ ତା ବଦଳ ରେ ଏହା ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଉପରକୁ ଆ ସେ।

9 With his mouth the evil man sends destruction on his neighbour; but through knowledge the upright are taken out of trouble.ଜଣେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ତା'ର କୁବାକ୍ଯଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ତା'ର କୁମୁଖ ରେ ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀକୁ ନାଶ କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଜ୍ଞାନର ସହିତ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି।

10 When things go well for the upright man, all the town is glad; at the death of sinners, there are cries of joy.ଧାର୍ମିକର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେଲେ, ନଗର ଆନନ୍ଦ କରେ। ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବିନାଶ ହେଲେ ଜଯଧ୍ବନି ହୁଏ।

11 By the blessing of the upright man the town is made great, but it is overturned by the mouth of the evil-doer.ନିଷ୍ଠାପର ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରନ୍ତି ଯେତବେେଳେ ଗୋଟିଏ ନଗର ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୁଏ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କଥାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଏହାର ବିନାଶ ଆଣେ।

12 He who has a poor opinion of his neighbour has no sense, but a wise man keeps quiet.ୟିଏ ଆପଣାର ପ୍ରତିବେଶୀକୁ ତାଛଲ୍ଯ ମନୋଭାବ ଦଖାେଏ, ସେ ନିର୍ବୋଧ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଣେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ୍ ଚୁପ୍ ହାଇେ ରହେ।

13 He who goes about talking of others makes secrets public, but the true-hearted man keeps things covered.କାରଣ କୁତ୍ସାରଟନାକାରୀ ଯେଉଁଆଡ଼େ ସେ ୟାଏ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତକତା କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଣେ ବିଶ୍ବସନୀଯ ଲୋକ ଗୁପ୍ତକଥା ଲୁଚାଇ ରେଖ।

14 When there is no helping suggestion the people will have a fall, but with a number of wise guides they will be safe.ଗୋଟିଏ ଜାତି ଠିକ୍ ଦଖାେଶୁଣା ଅଭାବ ୟୋଗୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହାଇେଥାଏ, କିନ୍ତୁ ବହୁତ ଉପଦେଷ୍ଟାମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ସଫଳତା ଆସିଥାଏ।

15 He who makes himself responsible for a strange man will undergo much loss; but the hater of such undertakings will be safe.ଅଜଣା ଲୋକ ପାଇଁ ଯେ ଲଗା ହୁଏ, ସେ ଅବଶ୍ଯ କ୍ଲେଶ ପାଏ। ମାତ୍ର ଲଗା ହବୋକୁ ଯେ ଘୃଣା କରେ ସେ ନିରାପଦ ରେ ଥାଏ।

16 A woman who is full of grace is honoured, but a woman hating righteousness is a seat of shame: those hating work will undergo loss, but the strong keep their wealth.ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗୌରବ ଧରି ରେଖ, ପୁଣି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକେ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଧରି ରଖନ୍ତି।

17 The man who has mercy will be rewarded, but the cruel man is the cause of trouble to himself.ଦୟାଳୁ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣର ହିତ କରେ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦଯ ସେ ଆପଣା ଶରୀରକୁ ଦୁଃଖ ଦିଏ।

18 The sinner gets the payment of deceit; but his reward is certain who puts in the seed of righteousness.ଦୁଷ୍ଟଲୋକ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଉପାର୍ଜନ କରେ। ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଧର୍ମବୀଜ ବୁଣେ ତାହାର ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଅଛି।

19 So righteousness gives life; but he who goes after evil gets death for himself.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ରେ ଅଟଳ ଥାଏ, ସେ ବଞ୍ଚି ରହିବ, ମାତ୍ର ୟିଏ କୁକର୍ମର ପଛ ରେ ୟାଏ, ସେ ଆପଣାର ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଘଟାଇବ।

20 The uncontrolled are hated by the Lord, but those whose ways are without error are his delightଜଣେ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚକ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଘୃଣିତ ହୁଏ, କିନ୍ତୁ ୟିଏ ନିଷ୍ଠାପର ଜୀବନ ୟାପନ କରେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ ତା'କୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି।

21 Certainly the evil-doer will not go free from punishment, but the seed of the upright man will be safe.ଏହା ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ସତ୍ଯ ଯେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବେ ଏବଂ ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ମୁକ୍ତି ପାଇବେ।

22 Like a ring of gold in the nose of a pig, is a beautiful woman who has no sense.ଯଦି ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁନ୍ଦର, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଏହା ଠିକ୍ ସହେିପରି ଯେପରି ଘୁଷୁରିର ଥୋମଣି ରେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥାଏ।

23 The desire of the upright man is only for good, but wrath is waiting for the evil-doer.ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କର ବାଞ୍ଛାର ଫଳ କବଳେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ, ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କ ଭରସାର ଫଳ କୋର୍ଧ ଅଟେ।

24 A man may give freely, and still his wealth will be increased; and another may keep back more than is right, but only comes to be in need.କହେି କହେି ଦାନ କରି ଆହୁରି ଧନ ବଢ଼ାନ୍ତି। ପୁଣି କହେି କହେି ଉଚିତ୍ ବ୍ଯଯ ଅସ୍ବୀକାର କଲେ ହେଁ ତହିଁରୁ କବଳେ ଅଭାବ ଜନ୍ମେ।

25 He who gives blessing will be made fat, but the curser will himself be cursed.ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରନ୍ତି, ସମାନେେ ଉନ୍ନତି କରିବେ ଏବଂ ସେ ୟିଏ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କର ଶୋଷ ମେଣ୍ଟାଏ ତା'ର ଶୋଷ ମେଣ୍ଟା ହବେ।

26 He who keeps back grain will be cursed by the people; but a blessing will be on the head of him who lets them have it for a price.ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ୟିଏ ତା'ର ଶସ୍ଯ ବିକ୍ରୀ କରିବାକୁ ମନ କରେ, ତାହାକୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଭିଶାପ ଦବେେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେକହେି ଶସ୍ଯ ବିକ୍ରଯ କରେ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଏବଂ ନ୍ଯାଯ ସହିତ ତା'ର ମସ୍ତକକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ମିଳେ।

27 He who, with all his heart, goes after what is good is searching for grace; but he who is looking for trouble will get it.ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଯତ୍ନ ରେ ହିତ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ, ସେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଏ। ପୁଣି ଯେ ଅନ୍ୟର ମନ୍ଦ କରିବାକୁ ଚା ହେଁ, ତା' ପ୍ରତି ସହେିପରି ଘଟେ।

28 He who puts his faith in wealth will come to nothing; but the upright man will be full of growth like the green leaf.ଆପଣା ଧନ ରେ ଯେ ନିର୍ଭର ରେଖ, ସେ ସତଜେ ପତ୍ରପରି ବଞ୍ଚେ। ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ସତଜେ ପତ୍ରପରି ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲ ହବେ।

29 The troubler of his house will have the wind for his heritage, and the foolish will be servant to the wise-hearted.ଜଣେ ୟିଏ ଆପଣା ପରିବାରକୁ ସମସ୍ଯାର କାରଣ ହୁଏ, କିଛି ଅଧିକାର ପାଏ ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ସେ ଜଣେ ଅଜ୍ଞାନୀ ବିଜ୍ଞ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିର ଦାସ ହବେ।

30 The fruit of righteousness is a tree of life, but violent behaviour takes away souls.ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିର ଫଳ ଜୀବନଦାୟକ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଅଟେ। ଜଣେ ୟିଏ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନ ଲାଭ କରେ।

31 If the upright man is rewarded on earth, how much more the evil-doer and the sinner!ଭଲ ଲୋକମାନେ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ପୁରସ୍କୃତ ହବେେ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ପାପୀଗଣ ତାଙ୍କର ପାପ ଭୋଗ କରିବେ।
