ଗୀତସଂହିତା 85:1-12

1 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

1 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ଦେଶ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା ଦଖାଇେଅଛ। ବିଦେଶରେ ୟାକୁବର ଲୋକମାନେ ବନ୍ଦୀ ହାଇେଥିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଛଡ଼ାଇ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଜ ଦେଶକୁ ନଇେଆସିଲ।
Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଅପରାଧ ସବୁ କ୍ଷମା କଲ। ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାପସବୁ ପୋଛିଲ।

3 ଆପଣା ସମସ୍ତ କୋର୍ଧରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହୁଅ। ଆପଣା କୋର୍ଧରେ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।

4 ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଖକୁ ଫରୋଇ ଆଣ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ ଅପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ହବୋ ବନ୍ଦ କର।
Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ସଦାକାଳ ଆମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ କୋର୍ଧିତ ହାଇେ ରହିବ ?
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

6 ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉଥରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଞ୍ଚିବାକୁ ଦବେ। ତଣେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବେ।
Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର ଏବଂ ଦଖାଇେ ଦିଅ ୟେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରମେ କରୁଛ।
Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

8 ସଦାପଭ୍ରୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ୟାହା କହିବେ ମୁଁ ଶୁଣିବି। ସେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଛନ୍ତି ୟେ, ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ଆପଣା ଅନୁସରଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଶାନ୍ତି ବିରାଜମାନ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ମୂର୍ଖତା ଜୀବନୟାପନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଫରେି ନ ୟାଆନ୍ତୁ।
I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

9 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କର ଅନୁସରଣକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖୁବ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭ ଦେଶରେ ସମ୍ମାନର ସହ ବାସ କରିବୁ।
Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

10 ସ୍ନହପେୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ଓ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତତା ଦେଶକୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରେ। ଧର୍ମ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ବନ୍ଧୁପରି ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ କରନ୍ତି।
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 ପୃଥିବୀର ଲୋକମାନେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ହବେେ ଏବଂ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମଙ୍ଗଳ କରିବେ।
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

12 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ବସ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବେ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଧରଣୀ ଫଳ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବ।
Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
