ଗୀତସଂହିତା 142:1-6

1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

1 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଡ଼ାକିବି। ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରେ।

2 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ମାରେ ସମସ୍ଯା ବିଷଯରେ କହିବି। ମାରେ ଅସୁବିଧାସକଳ ବିଷଯରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିବି।

3 ଆଶା ଛାଡ଼ିଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଅଟେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣ ଯେଉଁ ପଥ ଉପରେ ମୁଁ ଅଛି, ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଫାନ୍ଦ ବସାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।

4 ମାରେ ଚତୁଃପାଶର୍‌ବରେ କୌଣସି ବନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ ପାଉ ନାହିଁ। ମାେତେ କେଉଁଠାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବାକୁ ଦୌଡ଼ି ୟିବାକୁ ସ୍ଥାନ ନାହିଁ। କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ମାେତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

5 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଡାକେ : ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ନିରାପଦର ସ୍ଥାନ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହେଉଛ ସବୁକିଛି ୟାହା ମୁଁ ଜୀବନରେ ଦରକାର କରେ।
I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

6 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣ। ମୁଁ ବହୁତ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଅଟେ। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମାେତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମାେ ପଛରେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେ ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ।
Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
