Proverbs 30:16
ମୃତ୍ଯୁର ସ୍ଥାନ, ବନ୍ଧ୍ଯା ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ଜଳ ରେ ଅତୃପ୍ତ ଭୂମି ଓ ଅଗ୍ନି ଯେଉଁମାନେ କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା।

ରାହେଲ ଦେଖିଲା ଯେ, ସେ କୌଣସି ପିଲା ଜନ୍ମ କରିପାରୁ ନାହିଁ। ରାହେଲ ତା'ର ଭଊଣୀ ଲୟୋ ପ୍ରତି ଇର୍ଷାନିତ୍ବ ହେଲା। ତେଣୁ ରାହେଲ ଯାକୁବକୁ କହିଲା, ମାେତେ ପିଲା ଦିଅ ନେ ହେଲେ ମୁଁ ମରିବି।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ଧନ ଗୋଟିଏ ବଳବାନ୍ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକୁ ପ୍ରତାରଣା କରିପାରିବ। ସେ କବେେ ସଫଳ ହାଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ। କବର ପରି ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ପାଇବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ପରି ସେ କବେେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହବେନାହିଁ। ସେ ଅନ୍ୟସବୁ ଦେଶକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରି ଗ୍ଭଲିବ। ସେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଗ୍ଭଲିବ।
