Proverbs 21:18
ଦୁଷ୍ଟଲୋକ ଧାର୍ମିକର ମୁକ୍ତିର ମୂଲ୍ଯ ସ୍ବରୂପ, ପୁଣି ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତକ ସରଳ ଲୋକର ବଦଳି ସ୍ବରୂପ।

ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଦୁଃଖ ୟାତନା ସବୁ ଧାରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯଥାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବହନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତଥାପି ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ନିର୍ୟ୍ଯାତିତ ଓ ଦୁଃଖଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ବୋଲି ଭାବିଲୁ।

ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ନିଜେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ମଲେ। ସହେି ମୂଲ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦଲୋ। ସେ ନିଜେ ଦୋଷୀ ନ ଥିଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଦୋଷୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ବରଣ କଲେ। ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଏପରି କଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶରୀରକୁ ବଧ କରାଗଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ଆତ୍ମା ରେ ସେ ପୁନର୍ଜୀବିତ ହେଲେ,
