ମତ୍ତନୀଯ ଓ ବକ୍ବୁକିଯ, ଓବଦିଯ, ମଶୁଲ୍ଲମ, ଟଲ୍ମୋନ୍, ଅକ୍କୁବ୍ ଦ୍ବାରପାଳ ହାଇେ ଦ୍ବାର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଭଣ୍ତାର ଗୃହ ସକଳର ପ୍ରହରୀ କର୍ମ କଲେ।

ତେଣୁ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଯେଉଁ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍, ସମାନେେ ସହେିସବୁ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁର ଯତ୍ନ ନେଉଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର ଯତ୍ନ ନେଉଥିଲେ। ଆଉ, ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆତ୍ମୀଯ (ଯାଜକମାନେ) ହାରୋଣଙ୍କ ବଂଶଧରମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ସହିତ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲେ।

ଏହିମାନେ ଦ୍ବାରପାଳମାନଙ୍କ ଦଳର ନେତା ଥିଲେ। ଦ୍ବାରପାଳମାନେ ଏକ ବିଶଷେ ପ୍ରକା ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲେ, ଠିକ୍ ଯେପରି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆତ୍ମୀଯମାନେ କରୁଥିଲେ।

ଓବେଦ୍-ଇଦୋମଙ୍କୁ ଦକ୍ଷିଣପାଶର୍ବ ଦ୍ବାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋନୀତ କରାଗଲା ଓ ଆଉ ଯେଉଁ ଗୃହ ରେ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ସାମଗ୍ରୀମାନ ରଖାୟାଇଥିଲା, ତାହାକୁ ଜଗିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓବେଦ୍ ଇଦୋମଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରାଗଲା।

ମୀକାର ପୁତ୍ର ମତ୍ତନିଯ ୟିଏକି ସବ୍ଦିର ଆସଫର ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲା, ୟିଏକି ଶମ୍ମୁଯର ପୁତ୍ର ବକ୍ବୁକିଯ ଓ ଅବଦା ସହିତ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଅର୍ପଣର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଥିଲେ। ୟିଏକି ଗାଲଲର ପୁତ୍ର, ଗାଲଲ ୟିଏକି ୟିଦୂଥୂନର ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲା।

ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ଯଥା: ଯଶୂେଯ, ବିନୁଯି, କଦ୍ମୀଯଲେ, ଶେ ରବେିଯ, ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ମତ୍ତନିଯ। ଏହି ମତ୍ତନିଯ ଓ ତାହାର ଭାତୃଗଣ ପ୍ରଶଂସାର୍ଥକ ଗୀତର ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ।

ତା'ପ ରେ ଦିନେ, ସେ ପ୍ରହରୀ କହିଲା, ହେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଦିନ ବେଳେ ମୁଁ ନିରନ୍ତର ଦୁର୍ଗ ରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେ ଜଗିି ରହିଥାଏ ଓ ପ୍ରତି ରାତି ରେ। ମୁଁ ଆପଣା ପହରା ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସତର୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖିଥାଏ।
