ଅବାଥୋତର ଲୋକମାନେ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା କରୁଥିଲେ। ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଯିରିମିୟଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ ବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କର ନାହିଁ, କଲେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବୁ। ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଏକ ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ନେଲେ।
