ଯିଶାଇୟ 51:1
ହେ ଧର୍ମାଚାରୀଗଣ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣକାରୀଗଣ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର କଥା ଶୁଣ ; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଶୈଳରୁ କଟା ହାଇେଥିଲ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରୁ ଚ୍ଛଦରେୁ ଖୋଳା ହାଇେଥିଲା, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ କର।

அப்சலோம் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே அப்சலோமின் வேலைக்காரர்கள் அம்னோனுக்குச் செய்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது ராஜாவின் மகன்கள் எல்லோரும் எழுந்து, அவரவர்கள் தங்களுடைய கோவேறு கழுதையின்மேல் ஏறி ஓடிப்போனார்கள்.

ஆகையால் அப்சலோமின் இளம் வீரர்கள் அவன் கூறியபடியே செய்தார்கள். அவர்கள் அம்னோனைக் கொன்றார்கள். ஆனால் தாவீதின் பிற மகன்கள் தப்பிப் பிழைத்தார்கள். ஒவ்வொரு மகனும் தன் கோவேறு கழுதையின் மேலேறித் தப்பிச் சென்றான்.
