ହୋଶେୟ 9:7-9

7 The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.

8 The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

9 They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.

7 ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା କହନ୍ତି, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଏହି ନୀତିଗୁଡିକ ଶିକ୍ଷାକର। ଦଣ୍ତ ପାଇବା ସମୟ ଆସିୟାଇଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଥିଲ ତା'ର ଫଳ ପାଇବା ସମୟ ଆସି ୟାଇଛି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକେ କହନ୍ତି, ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଜଣେ ନିର୍ ବୋଧ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମା ସହିତ ଏହି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପାଗଳ। ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଜଘନ୍ଯ ପାପ ଲାଗି ଦଣ୍ତିତ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଘୃଣା ଭାବ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଦଣ୍ତିତ ହବେ।

8 ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ, ମାରେପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ଉପ ରେ ଜଗୁଆଳି ଅଟେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପଥ ମଧିଅରେ ଅନକେ ଫାଶ ଅଛି ଏବଂ ଲୋକମାନେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି। ଏପରିକି ତାଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଘ ରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଶତୃତା ରହିଛି।

9 ଗିବିଯାର ସମୟ ପରି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନେ ଧ୍ବଂସର ଗଭୀରତମ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଗ୍ଭଲି ୟାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାପକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାପ ଲାଗି ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବେେ।
