1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:

10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:

13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.

30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

1 ଏହା ହେଉଛି ଆଦମଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀର ଇତିହାସ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କ ସାଦୃଶ୍ଯ ରେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯକୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ।
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପୁରୁଷ ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କରି ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ ଏବଂ ସହେିଦିନ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଦେଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନାମ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଦେଲେ।
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 ଆଦମକୁ 130 ବର୍ଷ ପହଞ୍ଚିବା ପରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଆଉ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲା। ସେ ଠିକ୍ ଆଦମଙ୍କର ପରି ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଥିଲା। ଆଦମ ତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଦଇେଥିଲେ ଶେଥ।
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

4 ଶେଥର ଜନ୍ମ ପରେ ଆଦମ 800 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ଆଉ ପୁତ୍ର କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ।
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

5 ଏହିପରି ଆଦମ ମାଟେ 930 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚି ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

6 ଶେଥ 105 ବର୍ଷ ସମୟରେ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ, ଯାହାର ନାମ ଈନୋଶ।
And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

7 ଈନୋଶର ଜନ୍ମ ପରେ ଶେଥ 807 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟ ମଧିଅରେ ଶେଥଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ଯାମାନେ ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲ।
And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8 ଏହାପରେ ଶେଥ ମାଟେ ରେ 912 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିବା ପରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 ଈନୋଶକୁ ନବେ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମି୍ମଥିଲା। ତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ଥିଲା କଯିନାନ୍।
And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:

10 କଯିନାନ୍ର ଜନ୍ମପରେ ଈନୋଶ 815 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟ ମଧିଅରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ରକନ୍ଯାମାନ ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲ।
And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

11 ଏହିପରି ଈନୋଶ ମାଟେ 905 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲାପରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 କଯିନାନ ସତୁରି ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ, ତାହାର ନାମ ମହଲଲଲେ।
And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:

13 ମହଲଲଲେ ଜନ୍ମ ନବୋପରେ କଯିନାନ 840 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟ ମଧିଅରେ କଯିନାନଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ଯାଗଣ ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲ।
And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

14 ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ କଯିନାନ୍ 910 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲା ପରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

15 ମହଲଲଲେ ପଞ୍ଚଷଠି ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ରେ ଯରଦେ ନାମକ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ।
And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

16 ଯରଦେ ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲାପରେ ମହଲଲଲେ 830 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ ଏବଂ ସହେି ସମୟରେ ସେ ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ।
And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

17 ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ମହଲଲଲେ 895 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲା ପରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 ଯରଦେକୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ 162 ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ହାଇେଥିଲା ସେ ସମୟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଏକପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲ, ତାହାର ନାମ ହନୋକ।
And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

19 ହନୋକ ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲା ପରେ, ଯରଦେ ଯରହେ 800 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟ ମଧିଅରେ ସେ ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ଏବଂ କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ।
And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

20 ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ଯରଦେ 962 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚି ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 ହନୋକ 65 ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ, ଯାହାର ନାମ ମଥୂଶଲହେ।
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22 ମଥୂଶଲହେ ଜନ୍ମ ନବୋ ପରେ ହନୋକ 300 ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କଲେ। ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ଯ ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ଏବଂ କନ୍ଯାଗଣ ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଜନ୍ମ ନେଲେ।
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23 ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ ହନୋକ 365 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ।
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 ଦିନେ, ଯେ ତବେଳେ ହନୋକ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଧ୍ଯାନ ହେଲ, ଯେ ହତେୁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନଇଗେଲେ।
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 ମଥୁଶଲହେ 187 ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ କଲେ। ତାହାର ନାମ ଲମେକ।
And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

26 ଲମେକର ଜନ୍ମ ପରେ ମଥୂଶଲହେ 782 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ ଏବଂ ସେ ଆହୁରି ଅନକେ ପୁତ୍ର କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଇେଥିଲେ।
And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

27 ମଥୁଶଲହେ ମାଟେ 969 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲା ପରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଲମେକକୁ 182 ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ହାଇେଥିଲା, ତାଙ୍କର ଗୋଟିଏ ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲା।
And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29 ଲମେକ ତା'ର ନାମ ରଖିଲେ ନୋହ। ସେ କହିଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଅଭିଶପ୍ତ ଭୂମିରେ ଆମ୍ଭର କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମକୁ ଲାଘବ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନା ଦବେ।
And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.

30 ନୋହ ଜନ୍ମ ହବୋପରେ ଲମେକ 595 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚିଲେ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ଏବଂ କନ୍ଯାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଇେଥିଲେ।
And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31 ସେ ମାଟେ 777 ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚି ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।
And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
