ଆଦି ପୁସ୍ତକ 45:1-8

1 Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.

2 And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.

3 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.

4 And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.

6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.

7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

8 So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

1 ଯୋଷଫେ ନିଜକୁ ବେଶି ଦିନ ନିଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ରେ ରଖି ପାରି ନଥିଲେ। ଯୋଷଫେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଡ଼ାକି କହିଲେ, ସମସ୍ତେ ଏଠାରୁ ଚାଲିୟାଅ। ତେଣୁ କହେି ନଥିଲା ବେଳେ ଯୋଷଫେ ନିଜକୁ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ପରିଚିତ କରାଇଲେ।

2 ଯୋଷଫେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରିବା ସମସ୍ତ ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ରେ ଥିଲେ।
And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.

3 ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ଯୋଷଫେ ଅଟେ। ମାରେ ପିତା କୁଶଳ ରେ ତ? କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଭାଇମାନେ କିଛି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଭୟ କରୁଥିଲେ।
And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.

4 ତେଣୁ ଯୋଷଫେ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସ, ମୁଁ ନିବଦନେ କରିଛି ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସ। ତେଣୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଭାଇ ତାଙ୍କୁ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଯୋଷଫେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ଯୋଷଫେ, ମୁଁ ହେଉଛି ସହେି ଭାଇ ଯାହାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବିକ୍ରି କଲ କ୍ରତଦାସ ପରି କ୍ ରତାମାନଙ୍କେୁ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମିଶରୀଯ ରାସ୍ତା ରେ ଥିଲେ।
And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

5 ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। ମାେତେ ଗୋଟିଏ କ୍ରୀତଦାସ ପରି ବିକ୍ରୀ କରିଥିବାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜ ଉପରେ ରାଗ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଜୀବନ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଏଠାକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

6 ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଦୁଇବର୍ଷ ଧରି ଚାଲିଛି। ଆହୁରି ଏହିପରି ପାଞ୍ଚବର୍ଷ ହବେ। ଶସ୍ଯ କଅଁଳିବ ନାହିଁ।

7 ତେଣୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଏଠାକୁ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଗଇେ ନବୋ ପାଇଁ। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଏଠା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିପାରିବି ।
And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

8 ମୁଁ ଏଠାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୋଷରୁ ଆସି ନାହିଁ। ଏହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଯୋଜନା। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ପିତା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର କର୍ତ୍ତା କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ମିଶର ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତା କରିଛନ୍ତି।
So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
