ଆଦି ପୁସ୍ତକ 18:31
ଏହାପରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ କଷ୍ଟ ଦଇେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ପଚାରିବି କି। ଯଦି କୋଡ଼ିଏ ଜଣ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଥାନ୍ତି, ତବେେ କଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନଗରକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବ?
| And he said, | וַיֹּ֗אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| Behold | הִנֵּֽה | hinnē | hee-NAY |
| now, | נָ֤א | nāʾ | na |
| me upon taken have I | הוֹאַ֙לְתִּי֙ | hôʾaltiy | hoh-AL-TEE |
| to speak | לְדַבֵּ֣ר | lĕdabbēr | leh-da-BARE |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| Lord: the | אֲדֹנָ֔י | ʾădōnāy | uh-doh-NAI |
| Peradventure | אוּלַ֛י | ʾûlay | oo-LAI |
| twenty be shall there | יִמָּֽצְא֥וּן | yimmāṣĕʾûn | yee-ma-tseh-OON |
| found | שָׁ֖ם | šām | shahm |
| there. | עֶשְׂרִ֑ים | ʿeśrîm | es-REEM |
| And he said, | וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-MER |
| not will I | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| destroy | אַשְׁחִ֔ית | ʾašḥît | ash-HEET |
| it for twenty's | בַּֽעֲב֖וּר | baʿăbûr | ba-uh-VOOR |
| sake. | הָֽעֶשְׂרִֽים׃ | hāʿeśrîm | HA-es-REEM |
