ଏହି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ଘନମେଘ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସୈନ୍ଯ ଓ ମିଶରୀଯ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ରହିଲା। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଆଲୋକବର୍ତ୍ତିକା ଓ ମିଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ ହାଇେ ରହିଲା। ଯେଉଁଥି ପାଇଁ ସହେି ରାତ୍ର ରେ ମିଶରବାସୀ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

அக்காலத்திலே மனுஷன் தன் கைகளின் கிரியையாகிய பீடங்களை நோக்காமலும், தன் விரல்கள் உண்டுபண்ணின தோப்புவிக்கிரகங்களையும், சிலைகளையும் நோக்காமலும்,
At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

day	הַה֔וּא	hahûʾ	ha-HOO
